• Physical interpretation of full-waveform laser scanner data

• Forest mapping with Airborne Laser Scanning (ALS) and Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR)

• Applications: crop yield modelling, climate research, carbon cycle and Kyoto Protocol, flood and drought monitoring

• Mapping of coal fires with optical and infrared earth observation data
